Junior Graphic Designer
We’re looking for a highly motivated and talented young graphic designer to join our team on a flexible basis, either as an on-demand freelancer or casual employee.
We will only consider candidates who are living in South Australia, as working closely with—and learning from—our Senior Designer is a critical element of the role. Tertiary education in the field of visual communication is also essential. Your CV and folio should demonstrate that design is your #1 passion and desired profession.

- Work closely with the Senior Designer to develop creative ideas and visual concepts to meet design briefs outlined by the employer
- Design and develop print and digital media outcomes based on briefs, creative ideas or existing design outcomes
- Assist Flux with self-promotional design, print and digital media outcomes.
- Assist Flux with other design and workplace related duties as required.
Essentials
- Tertiary qualification in design or visual communication
- Highly proficient in the ability to comprehend and interpret creative briefs, and develop high quality design outcomes from them
- Proficient computer operating skills on Apple Macintosh platform
- Proficient software operating skills, especially Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator & Photoshop)
- Ability to create both print and digital media outcomes
- Excellent written and communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage time effectively and work under pressure when required
- Ability to work both autonomously and as a team

Designer/ Developer
If you’re a website developer (WordPress) looking to move into the creative world, we’d love to hear from you!
Along with meaningful work and all the flexible workplace perks, we can offer you a foot-in-the-door in the world of graphic design, branding and print design. In return we’d need you to help us look after our growing list of website clients with UI design, website builds, upgrades, updates and maintenance work. A match made in heaven!

The work would be on a flexible basis, either as an on-demand freelancer or casual employee in the first instance, but may evolve into a more permanent role for the right person.
