The first in a series of posters designed by Flux for the MindMatters program, creating awareness of mental health issues in high schools.
MindMatters is a national mental health initiative for secondary schools funded by the Australian Government Department of Health and Ageing.
MindMatters is a resource and professional development initiative supporting Australian secondary schools in promoting and protecting the mental health, and social and emotional wellbeing of all the members of school communities. Resources made available to schools through this program include posters that generate awareness of various mental health issues.
This poster uses a variety of contrasting typographic styles to create visual interest. The message appears to be painstakingly crafted with chalk across a blackboard background. The lesson being taught in this class is simple and clear—all employees and students at high schools are capable of participating in practices that look after the health and wellbeing of themselves and their peers.
We believe small communities are hugely important, so we love developing powerful marketing communications tools—logos (identity), websites, brochures, packaging and sign designs—for schools, councils, government departments, festivals and events.
